ATCHISON COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 9:30p.m. in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Polaris Ranger ATV driven by an 18-year-old Lewis, Iowa, man was northbound on R Avenue two miles southeast of Tarkio. The driver lost control on a gravel road. The UTV traveled off the west side of the road and overturned.
Two passengers, a 22-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl both of New Market, Iowa, were transported to Fairfax Community Hospital. The driver was not injured. The MSHP no longer releases names of accident victims.
