HOLT COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just afater 5p.m. Thursday in Holt County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Chevy Impala driven by a 51-year-old Omaha, Nebraska woman was northbound on Interstate 29 seven miles north of Craig. The car began to hydroplane and the rear of the car struck the front passenger side of a 2023 Chevy Silverado driven by a 44-year-old Brookings, South Dakota man.
EMS transported the 51-year-old driver to Fairfax Community Hospital. The pickup driver was not injured. Both drivers were properaly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
