Here is a list of general highway maintenance and construction work that MoDOT has planned in the Northwest region of Missouri for the week of March 30 - April 5.
There may be moving operations, such as mowing, brush cutting and litter removal, throughout the region in addition to the work mentioned below. Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work.
Atchison County
U.S. Route 136 – Resurfacing and drainage improvement project through July 2026. The road will be narrowed to one lane, and a 10-foot width restriction will be in place.
Route W – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from 275th Street to 285th Street, April 1, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Routes 46, 111, V, B, C – Various bridge rehabilitation projects through May 2026. The bridges may be narrowed to one lane with flaggers.
Buchanan County
Gene Field Road Bridge – CLOSED for a bridge replacement project through July 2026.
U.S. Route 59/Route 752/Route U – Intersection improvement project through spring 2027.
U.S. Route 169 – CLOSED for an intersection improvement project at Southeast Riverside Terrace through mid-July 2026.
Route 169 – Intersection improvement project at Route FF through mid-August 2026. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place. Access to 49th Street will be closed through June 2026.
Route 759 – Shoulder work northbound from Beaver Road to Cedar Street, March 30-April 3. The northbound driving lane will be closed, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
U.S. Route 36 – Concrete replacement eastbound at the Craig Parkway ramp, April 1-2.
Caldwell County
Route 13 – Milling parking spots and the roadway for a resurfacing and ADA improvements project from Samuel Street to School Street in Hamilton through mid-April. Route 13 will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers.
Carroll County
Route 10 – Pavement repair and resurfacing project from Route FF to Route C in Ray County, through May 15. The road will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers guiding motorists through the work zone.
U.S. Route 65 – Striping operation, March 30-April 3. This will be a moving operation. Motorists should expect delays. A 16-foot width restriction will be in place.
Route 41 – CLOSED for bridge maintenance from County Road 280 to County Road 381, March 30-April 2, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
Route U – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from County Road 221 to County Road 231, March 30, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Chariton County
Route O – CLOSED at the Bee Creek Bridge for a replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle through April 2026.
Route 24 – Pavement repair from Route 5 in Keytesville to Route 129 in Salisbury, March 30-April 3.
Route F – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Route C to Adamantine Road, March 30-31, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
Route F – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Adamantine Road to Ingalls Road, April 1, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Route F – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Ingalls Road to Mike Road, April 2, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Route F – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Mike Road to Route C, April 3, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Clinton County
I-35 – Pavement rehabilitation in the southbound lanes from Exit 40 (Lathrop) to Exit 48 (south Cameron) through September 2026. Both north and southbound traffic will be one lane, each direction, in the northbound lanes.
I-35 – Concrete replacement northbound at the 49.2 mile marker, March 30-31. Northbound will be narrowed to one lane around-the-clock.
I-35 – Concrete replacement southbound from the 38.0 mile marker to the 36.4 mile marker, March 30-April 3. Southbound will be narrowed to one lane around-the-clock with a 10-foot width restriction.
Daviess County
Route 13 – ADA improvements project from Berry Street to Van Buren Street in Gallatin through mid-April. Route 13 will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers.
Route UU – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Flint Avenue to Route B, March 30, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Route BB – Bridge maintenance at the Marrowbone Creek Bridge, March 30-April 3. The bridge will be narrowed to one lane with temporary traffic signals in place.
Holt County
Routes B, 111, 59, C, N – Various bridge rehabilitation projects through May 2026. The bridges may be narrowed to one lane with flaggers.
Linn County
Route 11 – CLOSED at the Badger Creek Bridge, north of New Boston, for a bridge replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle through May 2026.
Route 139 – CLOSED at the Parson Creek Bridge, north of Meadville, for a bridge replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle through May 2026.
Route U – CLOSED at the Long Branch Bridge, northwest of Bucklin, through early May for a deck replacement project.
Route P – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Fresno Road to Greenhills Road, April 1, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Route B – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Cord Drive to Clark Drive, April 2, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Livingston County
Route K – CLOSED at the North Fork Crooked Creek Bridge through April 2026 for a bridge replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle.
U.S. Route 65 – Striping operation, March 30-April 3. This will be a moving operation. Motorists should expect delays. A 16-foot width restriction will be in place.
Mercer County
Route JJ – CLOSED at the West Honey Creek Bridge for a deck replacement project through early April 2026.
Route E – CLOSED at the West Medicine Creek Bridge March 23 through early June 2026 for a deck replacement project.
Route E – CLOSED at the West Honey Creek Bridge through July 2026 for a bridge replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle.
Route J – Pavement repair from Route JJ to Route E, March 30-April 3.
Route BB – Pavement repair from Anglo Place to U.S. Route 65, March 30-April 3.
Nodaway County
U.S. Route 71 – Resurfacing project from the Iowa state line to U.S. Route 136 near Burlington Junction through April 2026. The road will be narrowed to one lane, and a 10-foot width restriction will be in place.
Route E – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Route 246 to 150th Street, March 30, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Route E – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from 150th Street to 160th Street, March 31-April 1, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
Route E – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Route NN to 170th Street, April 2, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Route E – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from west Route NN to east Route NN, April 3, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Route 113 – Various bridge rehabilitation projects through May 2026. The bridges may be narrowed to one lane with flaggers.
Putnam County
Route N – CLOSED at the Turkey Creek Bridge through July 2026 for a bridge replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle.
Route FF – CLOSED at the Shoal Creek bridge March 23 through early June 2026 for a deck replacement project.
Sullivan County
Route PP – CLOSED at the West Locust Creek Bridge through June 2026 for a bridge replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle.
Route T – CLOSED at the East Locust Creek bridge through July 2026 for a bridge replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle.
Route 5 – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Route 6 to the Route O and Route MM junction in Browning, March 31, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Route FF – CLOSED daily in up to 2-mile sections for resurfacing, March 30-April 3. *3

Route 46 – CLOSED at Marlowe Branch Creek for a bridge replacement project through May 2026.
