The honors continue to roll in for Kansas City Chiefs center Creed Humphrey after his stellar 2025 season, despite the Chiefs offense being at times lackluster.

Humphrey has been named a finalist for the inaugural "Protector of the Year Award," recognizing the top offensive lineman in the league. He is one of six finalists alongside the Denver Broncos Garrett Bolles and Quinn Meinerz, the Miami Dolphins Aaron Brewer, the Detroit Lions Penei Sewell, and the Chicago Bears, and former Chiefs teammate, Joe Thuney.

Humphrey, a former second-round pick, earned First-Team All-Pro honors for the second consecutive season earlier in the offseason after a strong performance in 2025. The winner of the award will be announced during NFL Honors show on February 5th.
