The United Way of Greater St. Joseph's Success by 6 program will host a Early Care and Education Conference at MoWest this weekend for early childcare and education professionals.
The event on Saturday, October 24th from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at MoWest will bring together early care and education professionals to gather for a day of meaningful learning and connection. The even will feature different learning sessions as well as hands on activities for participants focused on creating learning environments that support all learners, turning everyday interactions into learning opportunities and using engagement to support development.
Presenters Cheryl Cotter and Cristen Sassi will share how neurodiversity shapes the way young children learn, engage and experience their environments and discover ways to better meet each child where they are. The day will begin at 8am with registration running until 8:30. Lunch will be provided from 11:30am to 12:15pm.
