Wife of Chiefs' OC Eric Bieniemy shot by couple's son

Loudoun County, Virginia—Law enforcement authorities are  investigating a shooting that occurred on the 20000 block of Northpark Drive in Ashburn, Virgina, according to a statement from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

Just after 7:30p.m. Sunday, sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a shooting. Deputies located one adult female, later identified as the wife of Chief's Offensive Coordinator Eric Bieniemy, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries. 

Elijah Zion Bieniemy, 27, of Ashburn, was arrested on requested charges of  Malicious Wounding, Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, and Discharge of a Firearm Inside of a Dwelling. He was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he was held without bond.
