ATCHISON COUNTY—A Kansas man is in custody after an alleged DUI crash in Atchison.
A 2007 Honda Accord driven by Ty Rauber, 28, Atchison, was westbound on Q Street at 7th Street in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
Rauber failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a 2017 GMC Yukon driven by Kristen May, 38, Atchison, that had been southbound on 7th Street. Fire and EMS were on the scene but no one was transported. Rauber was taken into custody at the scene on requested charges of driving under the influence, transporting an open container, possession of marijuana, and failure to yield.
