ANDREW COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 9p.m. Thursday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Chevy Cruze driven by a 19-year-old Savannah woman was northbound on State Route W at U.S. 169 in Avenue City. The driver failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a 2012 Kia Optima driven by a 29-year-old Union Star man. The impact pushed the Kia off the road. The Kia rolled and struck a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 59-year-old Cosby man who was stationary in a parking lot.
Andrew County EMS transported the 29-year-old to Mosaic Life Care. There were no other injuries. All three drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
