NCMC announces Cameron Regional Medical Center Scholarship recipients

Six students at North Central Missouri College were awarded scholarships in a partnership between the North Central Missouri College Foundation and Cameron Regional Medical Center.

The highly competitive scholarships are awarded annually to students who demonstrate exceptional academic dedication, clinical excellence, and a deep commitment to pursuing critical healthcare careers within northwest Missouri.  The partnership between the NCMC Foundation and Cameron Regional Medical Center directly supports the regional healthcare workforce pipeline by easing financial barriers for students enrolled in rigorous medical and nursing programs. 

Recipients of this year's scholarship include.

  1. Deborah Watson (DeKalb County)(CRMC Employee) – Nursing, $5,000 Award
  2. Natalya Sprague (Clinton County) – Diagnostic Medical Sonography, $1,000 Award
  3. Hailee Nunez (Clinton County) – Nursing, $1,000 Award
  4. McKenna Hegger (Daviess County) – Nursing, $1,000 Award
  5. Mary Ann Wright (Clinton County) – Nursing, $1,000 Award
  6. Cheyenne Farrow (DeKalb County) – Nursing, $1,000 Award

"We are incredibly proud of these six outstanding individuals and deeply grateful to Cameron Regional Medical Center for their enduring investment in our health sciences student body," Scholarship Coordinator at NCMC Kristi Varner says in a news release. "By funding these distinct scholarship seats, CRMC is directly empowering the future frontline professionals who will care for our local communities."
