WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a homicide in Kansas City, Kansas.
Just after 11:30p.m. Saturday, police responded to a shooting in the 600 Block of Ridgeway Avenue, according to a media release. First responders found a man with gunshot wounds outside a home. He was transported to a local hospital and was later pronounced deceased. Police took a person of interest into custody.
Police did not release the victim's name or additional details.
