CLAY COUNTY, Mo.—Law enforcement continuee investigating an incident on a school bus in the Kansas City area suburb of Smithville.
On June 4, police received a report concerning an incident that reportedly occurred on a school bus within Smithville, according to a media release.
Investigators and officers have spoken with several parents, children, witnesses, and other involved parties. Officers are continuing to gather information and review the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Once the investigation is complete, the case will be submitted to the Clay County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
Because this remains an active investigation involving juveniles, no further details can be released at this time.
