ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.
Just after 11a.m. on Sunday an officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block Main Street in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike wilson. The driver, identified as 55-year-old Paul Surber, was subsequently found to be in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Police arrested and booked him into jail on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and driving without a license.
