BUCHANAN COUNTY—A St. Joseph man was arrested after an accident that occurred just after 11p.m. Saturday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Ford Ranger driven by 39-year-old Jamithunn A. McNeely of St. Joseph man was southbound on Interstate 29 in the city limits of St. Joseph. The pickup traveled off the west side of the road and struck the ground.
McNeely was arrested on requested charges of driving while intoxicated; failure to register the vehicle and failure to drive within right lane of the highway with two or more lanes resulting in an accident. He was also not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP. He was released and Buchanan County EMS transported him for treatment at Mosaic Life Care.
