ANDREW COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 1:30p.m. Sunday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2024 Lexus driven by an 87-year-old Kansas City, Missouri, woman was parked on the east shoulder of Business 71 at CR3483 four miles south of Savannah. The driver entered the roadh in front of 2004 Ford F150. The front driver side of the Lexus struck the rear passenger side of the Ford. After impact both vehicles traveled into the median and the pickup overturned.
Andrew County EMS transported the pickup driver to Mosaic Life Care. There were no other injuries and both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
