DAVIESS OUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 8:30a.m. Friday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2003 GMC Sierra driven by a 71-year-old Gallatin man was southbound on Lake Viking Terrace north of west Main Street three miles west of Altamont. The pickup crossed the center line and struck a northbound 2013 Chevy Silverado driven by a 36-year-old Gallatin man partially head-on.
Daviess County EMS transported the GMC driver to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The Chevy driver was not transported. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
