Contractors with Leavenworth Excavating & Equipment Company, working with MoDOT will begin work to start installing J-turns at the intersection of U.S. Route 71 and 340th Road starting Monday.
Route 71 will be narrowed to one lane each direction. Access to 340th road will be available during this first phase.
