The 11th annual Coffee for a Cure at The Human Bean in St. Joseph raised a record breaking amount to benefit breast cancer patients throughout the region.&nbsp;&nbsp;

On Friday October 16th, The Human Bean&nbsp;generated $20,105.78 through sales, tips and donations.&nbsp; The Mosaic Life Care Auxiliary matched the amount dollar for dollar, bringing the 2026 fundraising total to $40,211.56, making the event one of the most successful fundraising year to date.&nbsp; Funds raised through Coffee for a Cure benefit the Mosaic Life Care Auxiliary Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund, which helps area patients acces mammogram, education, post diagnosis support and financial assistance during treatment. 

Since Coffee for a Cure began in 2016, the annual fundraiser has generated $251,126.02 to support breast cancer patients in the region.
