LIVINGSTON COUNTY —Three people were injured in an accident just before 11:30p.m. Sunday in Livingston County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2011 GMC Terrain driven by 16-year-old Chillicothe girl was northbound on U.S. 65 three miles west of Avalon. The SUV struck an animal in the road. After impact, the vehicle crossed the center of the road, traveled off the west side of the highway and struck a fence and large boulder.
Chillicothe EMS transported the driver and two 18-year-old female passengers to Hedrick Medical Center. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
