MERCER COUNTY —One person injured in an accident just after 4:30p.m. Wednesday in Mercer County.
The Missouri State Highway. Patrol reported a 2015 Toyota RAV 4 driven by a 26-year-old Trenton man was southbound on U.S. 65 four miles north of Spickard. The SUV rear ended a horse and buggy driven by 31-year-old Spickard man.
Mercer County ambulance transported the horse and buggy driver to Mosaic Life Caare in St. Joseph. The SUV driver was properly restrained and not injured, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims. The patrol did release details on the condition of the horse.
