Shauwn Laramie DeVore, 41, Bethany, MO passed away June 14, 2025, at his home.
He was born on April 25, 1984, in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to Cecilia DeVore.
Shauwn attended South Harrison High School and obtained his GED from the state of Missouri on August 4, 2011. Growing up he enjoyed bike riding, swimming, video games, fishing, and hunting. When he was 14, he caught a 52 ½ pound carp at the Bethany Lake. He worked various jobs and earned a 15-year service award from Johnson Controls. As an adult, he still enjoyed fishing, hunting, swimming, playing video games, and grilling out.
Shauwn is survived by his mother, Cecilia DeVore; father, Roger Whitaker; brother, Shannon DeVore; nephew, Kanden DeVore; niece, Abbygail DeVore; aunts and uncles, Eva and Perry Stark, Mary Decker, Roger and Patricia Bourne, Missy and David Gilbertson, and Douglas and Felicia Bourne; many cousins; and friends, Mark Lawson, Willie May, Megan Wise, and almost everyone with whom he had a conversation with.
Shauwn has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Per his wishes, no services will be held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
