Neal Leland Hailey, 69, of Stanberry, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in his home on July 1, 2025.
Neal was born on October 23, 1955 in King City, Missouri. He graduated from Union Star High School. His career included many things, but he was most passionate about trucking. He drove for over 25 years. Some of his other passions and hobbies included farming, hunting, side-by-side cruises with Mary and his pups, children and grandchildren events, and taking care of his John Deere machinery.
Neal was preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Lela Hailey; twin sister, Nena Hailey; son, Jason Hailey; niece, Tonya Maize; mother and father-in-law, Charles and Evelyn Sherry; and sister-in-law, Ginny Sherry.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; his children, Amber Hahn (Todd), Derek Hailey (Jessie), and Mark Hailey (Tarah); his grandchildren, Bryttani Sparks (Derek), Bryant Sparks (Gabby), Brayden Hahn, and Abbygail, Kinnley, Peyton and Ryker Hailey; and his sister Nancy Teaford.
His legacy will be seen through his family. He will be remembered for his love, passion, wisdom, caring heart, laughter, and unwavering integrity. He built an amazing life that will be represented every day.
Neal was cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home. The family will hold a Celebration of Life service at the old Hawthorne Building 210 N Park St, Stanberry MO 64489, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Memorials may be sent to 4253 370th St, Stanberry, MO 64489.
