Monte Dale Burton, age 64, Bethany, Missouri passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Mosaic Medical Center in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Monte was born March 31, 1961, in St. Joseph, Missouri. He was the son of Lloyd James and Maxine (Thurman) Burton. They both preceded him in death. Monte attended Albany R-3 school in Albany, Missouri. 

He was united in marriage to Beverly James in 1979. They were later divorced. Monte worked as a mechanic at his dad’s shop, Lloyd’s Auto Repair, Gentry, Missouri and at Shell’s Service, Maryville, Missouri. Most recently he worked at Johnson Controls as an assembly technician in Albany before retiring because of health problems.

His survivors include two sons, Brian (Valerie) Burton and Bradley Burton, both of Gentry, Missouri, six grandchildren Tyler, Cody, Racheal, Jason, Alena and Joey, two brothers Johnnie (Shonda) Burton, North Carolina, Rodney (Debbie) Burton, Maloy, Iowa, and a host of other friends and loved ones.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at the Hann Funeral Home Chapel, Grant City, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM, Monday, July 7, 2025, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Kirk Cemetery, Allendale, Missouri.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Daniel L. Miller, 71, of Ravenwood, Missouri, passed from this life on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Mosiac Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri, after a brief illness.

Dan was born in Maryville, Missouri, on February 15, 1954, to Byron N. and Marlene J. (Pitzenberger) Miller, and was a lifelong resident of the area.

He graduated from Northeast Nodaway High School, Ravenwood, and had attended diesel mechanics school. He had worked many years in the maintenance department at LaClede Chain Manufacturing, Maryville.

He enjoyed farming and the land, he also liked to hunt, fish, and airplanes. He had received his private pilot's license in 1988 and was a member of the Maryville Flying Club. He had also been a member of the Ravenwood Fire and Rescue Squad. Dan was of the Methodist faith.

His parents and sister, Julie Taylor had preceded him in death.

He is survived by his long-time friend and companion, Monica Bodle, of Ravenwood. And his son, Carl (Karen) Miller, Ravenwood, his daughter, Jennifer Miller, his brother, David (Irma) Miller, Ravenwood, and 7 grandchildren, Cynthia Scott, Summer Swalley, Colton Swalley, Brea Miller, Lane Miller, Justin Miller, and Alexis Ritchie, and 2 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 PM, on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri.

Graveside services and burial will be at 1:00 PM, on Friday, July 11, 2025, at the Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ravenwood, Missouri.

Robert Joseph Zimmerman, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on January 4th, 1964, in Maryville, MO, Rob spent his entire life in the community he cherished.

Rob was a dedicated truck driver for Loch Sand and Construction Co. in Maryville, MO, where he devoted 40 years of service. His commitment to his work was matched only by his love for his family and friends. A former member of the Elk's Lodge, Rob was also a member of the Maryville Country Club and the Teamster's Union. His passion for life was evident in his diverse interests and his founding of Cowboy Bob's Annual Testicle Festival, a testament to his vibrant spirit and sense of humor. Rob was also a faithful attendee of the "Safety Meetings" and "Management Meetings" held weekly within his friend group. Rob was also proud of MRZ Trucking, a company he started with his brother.

Rob is survived by his loving wife, Cammi Zimmerman, of the home; his two sons, Jonathan (Lora) Zimmerman of Seligman, MO, and Jackson Zimmerman of Gladstone, MO; and his daughter, Darbi (Clayton) Rope of Clarinda, IA. He also leaves behind his brothers, Kelly (Jessica Whaley) Zimmerman and Michael "Mick" (Julie Hewitt) Zimmerman, both of Maryville, MO; and his sisters, Debbie (Stan) Snyder of Maryville, MO, and Sherry "Bird" (Mark "Martian") Schoonbeck of Gladstone, MO. Rob was a proud grandfather to K'Lynne Zimmerman, Kira Zimmerman, and Walker Rope, one niece and several nephews. Rob leaves a large and diverse friend group that will have "Rob stories" to tell and enjoy for years to come.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. Zimmerman and Lucille E. Zimmerman.

Rob's legacy extends beyond his family and work. He was proud of the family farm and made a lot of memories there. He was also instrumental in revitalizing the White Cloud Cemetery, a project close to his heart. Donations in his memory can be made to the White Cloud Cemetery to continue this important work.

Visitation will be held at Laura Street Baptist Church in Maryville, MO, on Friday, July 11th, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Memorial Funeral Service will be held at St. Laura Street Baptist Church in Maryville, MO, on Saturday, July 12th, 2025, at 10:00 am. We will proceed to Ohio Cemetery in Burlington Jct., MO for burial after the service. There will be another gathering of close friends and family at White Cloud Cemetery, south of Maryville, to bury a portion of Rob's remains there, per his wishes.

Donna Mae Yanks, 87, of Maryville, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 30, 2025, at home surrounded by family.

Donna Mae (Scheel) Yanks was born January 7, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois, to Gilbert Scheel and Beatrice Marcucci.

She married Michael Richard Yanks on November 26, 1970. Along with her husband Michael, she co-owned and operated Taco Del Sol in Maryville. She also worked for Great Plains Security at Kawasaki. Later she worked at Northwest Missouri State University until she finally retired at age 80.

Her hobbies include bowling and making crafts. She was an animal lover, and leaves behind her cat Missy, and her grand fur children, and her dogs, Trouble, Honey, and Blue.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Richard Yanks, her sister, Karen Mowery, 3 children, Raymond Tarr, Steven Tarr, and Shari Tarr, and her grandson, Cody Michael Yanks.

Donna’s survivors include her sons, Michael Richard Yanks, Jr, and wife Brenda, of Maryville, Missouri, and William Tarr, of Las Vegas, Nevada, her brother-in-law, Allen Mowery of Nebraska. Several grandchildren, and nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

Donna has been cremated under the care of the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri.

A Celebration of Life for Donna will be at a later date.

Lillian Frances (Noland) VanDeventer was born at her family home near Mound City, Missouri on June 4, 1939. She passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Tiffany Heights in Mound City after a brief illness.

Lillian graduated from Mound City High School in 1957. She worked at a restaurant for awhile. Then she worked at Mound City News-Independent for many years followed by working for Johnson Insurance until her retirement.

She married Ralph VanDeventer on September 12, 1964, and they lived in Mound City. Ralph preceded her in death on June 15, 1983.&nbsp;

Lillian attended church at the Mound City Presbyterian Church. She loved horses and reading.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, Glenn and Frances Noland; her sister, Betty Grishow; nephews, Jay Grishow, Phil Blazer, and niece Cris VanDeventer.

Lillian is survived by her sister-in-law, Iva VanDeventer, Mound City; cousins, Laura Jo (Clenell) Prettyman of Barnard, Missouri; and Shirley Barnett of Savannah, Missouri; nephews, Scott Grishow and Charlie Bill (Vona) Blazer, Forest City, Missouri, and Tom (Samantha) VanDeventer of Mound City; nieces, Janet (Earl) Cromer, Oregon, Missouri, Susie Stewart and Robin Partridge, Wamego, Kansas, and Carol Brandon, Mound City.

Lillian VanDeventer June 4, 1939-July 3, 2025

Brooke passed away on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, at home with her family. Brooke had the most generous heart as anyone we ever knew. Brooke was born on January 19th, 1986 as the youngest daughter to Cliff and Lea Welsh. &nbsp;She loved little kids and worked with them for many years. She started working in St. Joseph, MO at a daycare called One Step Ahead Early Learning Center LLC from 2006 to 2011. Then in August of 2012 she started working at Precious Memories Child Care LLC in Bethany with her best friend until she passed doing what she loved. &nbsp;Brooke graduated from South Harrison in 2004 and graduated from Graceland University with her BA in Elementary Education in 2011. The one thing Brooke always wanted in life was to have a family. She spent many nights wondering if she would ever get that chance. While she waited for her chance to become a mom, she touched so many lives while working with the kids at daycare. Many of them started as babies and have grown into older kids now, but they always remember their “Brookie”. She spoiled them, taught them, guided them, but most of all she loved them just like they were her own.

In 2019, Brooke decided to take her dream into her own hands and began fostering. It was at this time that she met Chloe and Aubrey. They were her dream kids and she couldn’t wait for them to be in her everyday life. They would become her everything and eventually the children she always wanted. On February 4th, 2022, Chloe was adopted and on December 13th, 2022, Brooke took guardianship of Aubery. Brooke adored Chloe and Aubrey and built a home that was centered around love and family. &nbsp;

Brooke is survived by her children: Chloe Welsh &amp; Aubrey Wynkoop; her parents, Lea and Cliffton Welsh (Bethany MO); her sister, Becky Creasey (Bethany MO); her brother, Ben &amp; Brandi Brooke (Bethany MO); her nephew, Wyatt Creasey (Bethany MO); her niece, Emily Creasey &nbsp;(Bethany MO); her nephews, Kayden Brooke, Kayl Brooke, Taylor Brooke, &amp; Rhett Brooke (Bethany MO); her nieces, Jessica &amp; Jamie Tharp (Bethany MO); and many aunts, uncles, &amp; friends that considered Brooke as a part of their family.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, George &amp; Mary Flint and Earl &amp; Thelma Welsh; along with her precious nephew, Kolton Brooke.

Brooke has been cremated under the direction of the Roberson Funeral Home. Her wishes were to have a private celebration of life with her family and close friends. One thing that Brooke wanted everyone to know is that your life can be just a matter of minutes and you need to seek the Lord always because faith can move mountains. Her former pastor taught her to pray for God to bring her peace and that is what she got through this journey in life.

William Morrison July 17, 1957-June 29, 2025

A true daughter of northern Missouri, Sara Lynn Campbell, 26, of Eagleville, died unexpectedly on Thursday, June 26, 2025.&nbsp;

Sara was born just after lunch on July 21, 1998, at Decatur County Hospital in Leon, Iowa. She attended North Harrison Schools and graduated from North Harrison High School in 2016. She attended Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville.&nbsp;

Sara was a woman who wore many hats - both figuratively and literally. A natural entrepreneur and lover of the land and of animals, she also expressed herself through her keen eye for fashion. &nbsp;

Sara grew up on the family farm in Eagleville, spending her days caring for the land and animals. She spent years showing livestock, earning distinction as she developed her skills. Sara especially enjoyed showing her prize sheep and hogs, roping, tending her cattle, and cuddling with her dog Charlie. But spending time farming in northern Missouri, and surrounding herself with friends and family, were Sara’s true passions.&nbsp;

A true daughter of northern Missouri, Sara Lynn Campbell, 26, of Eagleville, died unexpectedly on Thursday, June 26, 2025.&nbsp;Sara was born just after lunch on July 21, 1998, at Decatur County Hospital in Leon, Iowa. She attended North Harrison Schools and graduated from North Harrison High School in 2016. She attended Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville.&nbsp;Sara was a woman who wore many hats - both figuratively and literally. A natural entrepreneur and lover of the land and of animals, she also expressed herself through her keen eye for fashion. &nbsp;Sara grew up on the family farm in Eagleville, spending her days caring for the land and animals. She spent years showing livestock, earning distinction as she developed her skills. Sara especially enjoyed showing her prize sheep and hogs, roping, tending her cattle, and cuddling with her dog Charlie. But spending time farming in northern Missouri, and surrounding herself with friends and family, were Sara’s true passions.&nbsp;Sara lived life to the fullest, she was a true social butterfly. Barbara Dian Stewart, 63, of Albany, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Barb was born on September 6, 1961, to Wayne and Hazel (Cook) Owens. She was one of eleven children and grew up in a home filled with love, laughter, and a strong sense of family.

On October 3, 1981, she married the love of her life, Mike Stewart. Together they built a life and were blessed with a son, Josh. Barb was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Barb began her career in housekeeping at Colonial Manor in Albany, which later became Golden Living. Through her dedication and hard work, she became a dietician for the nursing home and served the residents with compassion until its closure. She later continued her service to the community by working for the Albany R-III School District and at the Gentry County Courthouse in janitorial and housekeeping roles.

Barb was known for her selflessness, quiet strength, and loving nature. She was the heart of her family and a friend to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Dickie, Andy, Beanie, Hal, and Carl; sisters Becky Gach and Carolyn Munez; granddaughter Carly Ann Stewart; and her mother-in-law, Marge Stewart.

Barb is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Mike Stewart of the home; son, Josh Stewart of Albany; grandchildren, Millieu and Cason; brothers Ted (Betty) Owens and Steve (Janet) Owens, all of Albany; sister Kathy (John) Overly of Eugene, OR; sisters-in-law Roberta Owens of St. Joseph, Sonya Owens of Albany, and Elaine Owens of Grant City; brothers-in-law Tracy Gach of Burlington, IA, Steve Stewart, and Scott (Jennifer) Stewart, all of Warsaw, IN; father-in-law Duane Stewart of Warsaw, IN; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.

Barbara Stewart September 6, 1961-July 1, 2025

Dwight Eugene Mothershead, age 90, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers with his wife Marilyn by his side.

Dwight was born February 25, 1935, on a farm near Gravity, lowa, to Ollen and Naomi (Wilson) Mothershead. He graduated from Gravity High School in 1952 at the age of 17. At graduation he was awarded the lowa State Bar Association Citizenship award. He went into farming with his dad. He grew up with a deep appreciation for hard work and personal responsibility. These values shaped how he lived and worked. He sped through life in the fast lane, eating, walking, and working, as he never did anything slow. In 1966, he purchased a farm near Gravity, lowa, and on August 7th, he married Marilyn Corbin.

In addition to farming he worked at a plant in Corning, lowa. When the plant closed, he worked for several years at Tote in Lenox, lowa. In November of 1976, Dwight and Marilyn moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas, where they had purchased a new home. On May 18, 1977, they closed on the purchase of their new home in Rogers, Arkansas. Dwight worked for what is now known as Kennametal Corporation, as the Company went through several name changes. He worked there for over 38 years before he retired at the age of 80.

In 2013, Dwight and Marilyn joined the Church of Christ in Garfield, Arkansas. Dwight and Marilyn have traveled to all seven Continents. They have traveled to Europe over 30 times seeing many different countries, to South America several times, to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Tahiti and Mo'orea in the South Pacific, and several times to the Caribbean. In January of 2024, they traveled around Cape Horn in South America and on to Antarctica. In September of 2024, they traveled to Cape Town, South Africa, touring several countries, Krueger National Park and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Some of the great memories were the dog sled rides and driving a sleigh pulled by reindeer in Finland, taking a train ride in Ushuaia, Argentina, to the end of the world, the safaris and feeding Jumbo, the 5 ton elephant, in Africa, and the beauty of the Arctic Circle and Antarctica.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Oliver Mothershead, and sister-in-law, Mary Mothershead. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, of 59 years, one sister, Evelyn Lyles and husband, Kenneth, of Deer Park, Washington, and several nieces and nephews and their families in lowa and Washington.

Funeral Services&nbsp;will be held Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Cummings Family Funeral Home in Bedford at 2:00 PM.&nbsp; Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.&nbsp; Burial will be at Washington Cemetery in Gravity, Iowa.

Debbie Lynn (Jones) Fletchall, age 62, Grant City, Missouri died Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at her home in Grant City.

Deb was born September 21, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri. Her parents were Billy Gale and Racheal Ann (Rigney) Jones. Deb attended Worth County R-3 School in Grant City. She was united in marriage to Douglas Fletchall. They were later divorced. Deb loved antiques, was an admirer of turquoise stones, fishing and camping at the river. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Doris Ann Drennon, her companion Chuck Morin and a nephew Ricky Sechrest. Her survivors include daughter Amanda Fletchall, Creston, Iowa, son Jessie (Jessica) Fletchall, Denver, Missouri, stepchildren Willie and Brittany Morin, niece Stefanie (Steven) Golem, Belton, Missouri, nephew Scott Sechrest, Holden, Missouri, grandchildren Adrian, Sara and Keila Fletchall, Xander and Cain Harmening, Tara and Peighton Evans, and Morgan Morin, great nieces and nephew Ellie and Jackson Golem, Kennedy Ann Sechrest and a host of other friends and loved ones.

Per Deb’s request her body has been cremated under the care of the Hann Funeral Home, Grant City. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with inurnment in the Miller Cemetery, Denver.

Donna Lee Turnipseed Dailey, 83, of Maryville, and formerly of Ravenwood, Missouri, passed away at Maryville Living Center on July 1, 2025.

She was born April 19, 1942, in Worth County to Russell and Elizabeth Barger Kemery. She graduated in 1960 from Northeast Nodaway High School as the class valedictorian.

On February 18,1962 she married Willard Turnipseed at the Ravenwood Methodist Church. After almost 33 years of marriage Willard passed away at age 57.

Donna worked several places; Grand River Mutual Telephone Co business office in Ravenwood for 15 years, Northwest Missouri State University, Microtel Hotel, St. Francis Physician Office and retired from SSM St Francis Hospital as a housekeeper at the age of 72.

She was a widow for 20 years, having said she would never get married again, she met Elijah Dailey from Mercer, Missouri, and they married on April 26, 2015, and she moved to his farm in Mercer. Elijah passed away March 2, 2021, and Donna moved to Maryville.

She was a member of the Mercer Methodist Church and Ravenwood Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, Willard &amp; Elijah, brother Bill Kemery, sister Jean Hall, brother-in-law Charles Osborn.

She is survived by her sister, Peggy Osborn, Maryville, nephews Jeff (Natalie) Hall, Ravenwood, Jason (Cathy) Hall, Pete (Jennifer) Hall, Maryville, Jamie (Monica) Hall, Kansas City, Nathan (Cassie) Osborn, Barnard, and nieces Jennifer Osborn, Chrissy (Josh) Emery, Ravenwood, brother-in-law Albert Hall, Ravenwood, many great nieces &amp; nephews and great-great nephews and nieces.

Per Donna’s request, no services will be conducted. &nbsp;Donna was cremated under the care of Bram Funeral Home.

Donna Dailey April 19, 1942-July 1, 2025

Willa Mae (Nally) Auffert, 89, of Ravenwood, MO, peacefully went to be with the Lord on June 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on January 19, 1936, in Sheridan, MO to Norvel Olin and Alice Mae (Runyon) Nally. A graduate of Worth County R-II High School, Willa was a member of the Ravenwood Christian Church, the Missouri Order of the Eastern Star, and the Maryville Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Willa was married to Herbert Sheets in 1953 and together they had 2 daughters Debra and Brenda.

In 1977, she married Leo Auffert. Together, they spent 20 years building a life and working side by side on the family farm until his passing in 1996.

Willa is survived by her sister, Linda Parker, Deltana, FL, and sister-in-law LuElla Nally, Bedford, IA.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leo; her brothers, David, Gary, and Donald Nally; her sister, Marilyn Roberts; brothers-in-law, Charles and Philip Auffert and Dick Roberts; and sisters-in-law, Phyllis Nally, Mary Ellen, Donna, and Patricia Auffert.

Willa leaves behind her loving daughters, Debra (David) Baldwin and Brenda (Wayne) Boswell, both of Ravenwood, MO. She is survived by her cherished grandchildren: Heather (Adam) Townsend of Maryville, MO; Kimberly (Steve) Wisdom of Overland Park, KS; Corey (Mary) Boswell of Ravenwood, MO; and Mindy (Matthew) Zofchak of Durand, MI.

She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Hannah Townsend (fiancé Mac Newton), Trevor (Kylee) Townsend, Trent Townsend, William (Payton) Boswell, Benjamin Boswell (fiancé Laney Meehan), Jackson Boswell, Jillian Boswell, and Mya Zofchak; and her great-great-granddaughter, Janee’ Boswell.

Services were entrusted to Bram Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at the Ravenwood Christian Church at 11:00 am on Monday, July 7, 2025, with visitation beginning one hour prior. There will be no graveside service.

A graduate of Worth County R-II High School, Willa was a member of the Ravenwood Christian Church, the Missouri Order of the Eastern Star, and the Maryville Fraternal Order of Eagles.Willa was married to Herbert Sheets in 1953 and together they had 2 daughters Debra and Brenda.In 1977, she married Leo Auffert. Together, they spent 20 years building a life and working side by side on the family farm until his passing in 1996.Willa is survived by her sister, Linda Parker, Deltana, FL, and sister-in-law LuElla Nally, Bedford, IA.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leo; her brothers, David, Gary, and Donald Nally; her sister, Marilyn Roberts; brothers-in-law, Charles and Philip Auffert and Dick Roberts; and sisters-in-law, Phyllis Nally, Mary Ellen, Donna, and Patricia Auffert.Willa leaves behind her loving daughters, Debra (David) Baldwin and Brenda (Wayne) Boswell, both of Ravenwood, MO. She is survived by her cherished grandchildren: Heather (Adam) Townsend of Maryville, MO; Kimberly (Steve) Wisdom of Overland Park, KS; Corey (Mary) Boswell of Ravenwood, MO; and Mindy (Matthew) Zofchak of Durand, MI.She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Hannah Townsend (fiancé Mac Newton), Trevor (Kylee) Townsend, Trent Townsend, William (Payton) Boswell, Benjamin Boswell (fiancé Laney Meehan), Jackson Boswell, Jillian Boswell, and Mya Zofchak; and her great-great-granddaughter, Janee’ Boswell.Services were entrusted to Bram Funeral Home. Shauwn Laramie DeVore, 41, Bethany, MO passed away June 14, 2025, at his home.

He was born on April 25, 1984, in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to Cecilia DeVore.

Shauwn attended South Harrison High School and obtained his GED from the state of Missouri on August 4, 2011. Growing up he enjoyed bike riding, swimming, video games, fishing, and hunting. When he was 14, he caught a 52 ½ pound carp at the Bethany Lake. He worked various jobs and earned a 15-year service award from Johnson Controls. As an adult, he still enjoyed fishing, hunting, swimming, playing video games, and grilling out.

Shauwn is survived by his mother, Cecilia DeVore; father, Roger Whitaker; brother, Shannon DeVore; nephew, Kanden DeVore; niece, Abbygail DeVore; aunts and uncles, Eva and Perry Stark, Mary Decker, Roger and Patricia Bourne, Missy and David Gilbertson, and Douglas and Felicia Bourne; many cousins; and friends, Mark Lawson, Willie May, Megan Wise, and almost everyone with whom he had a conversation with.

Neal Leland Hailey, 69, of Stanberry, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in his home on July 1, 2025.

Neal was born on October 23, 1955 in King City, Missouri. He graduated from Union Star High School. His career included many things, but he was most passionate about trucking. He drove for over 25 years. Some of his other passions and hobbies included farming, hunting, side-by-side cruises with Mary and his pups, children and grandchildren events, and taking care of his John Deere machinery.

Neal was preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Lela Hailey; twin sister, Nena Hailey; son, Jason Hailey; niece, Tonya Maize; mother and father-in-law, Charles and Evelyn Sherry; and sister-in-law, Ginny Sherry.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; his children, Amber Hahn (Todd), Derek Hailey (Jessie), and Mark Hailey (Tarah); his grandchildren, Bryttani Sparks (Derek), Bryant Sparks (Gabby), Brayden Hahn, and Abbygail, Kinnley, Peyton and Ryker Hailey; and his sister Nancy Teaford.

His legacy will be seen through his family. He will be remembered for his love, passion, wisdom, caring heart, laughter, and unwavering integrity. He built an amazing life that will be represented every day.

Donnie Ripley, 62, of Uvalde, Texas, formerly of College Springs, Iowa, passed away June 3, 2025 at his home in Uvalde, Texas.

Donald Walter Ripley, 62, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on June 3, 2025, at his residence following his battle with lung cancer.

Donnie was a talented pilot, who owned and operated L&amp;W Flying Services in Uvalde. He enjoyed his work and was a loving father, grandfather and husband.

He was born on September 2, 1962, in Clarinda, Iowa to Joyce Eliane (Davison) and Donald "Gene" Eugene Ripley. He grew up on the family farm in Iowa, where he and his siblings were involved in feeding and milking cows and farming. He enjoyed time with his Grandpa and Grandma Davison, where he spent summers swimming and winters ice skating on their pond.

Donnie graduated in 1982 from South Page Schools in College Springs and spent many years searching for a career path that suited him. He started trucking with his uncle Jim, traveling as far as the west coast and the Canadian border.

He married his first wife Becky in 1983. With this union Donnie gained a step-daughter Hollie, who he loved and raised as his own. Together Donnie and Becky welcomed 3 children, Dominic, Patricia and Joan Leann.

With children at home Donnie wanted a change from being on the road trucking, and began working for his Grandpa Ripley at the lumberyard in College Springs, IA. It wasn't until his 30's though, when he began working as a professional crop duster, that he found what he really loved, and found the career that led him to move to Texas in 2001.

They say do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life, and that is what he did with crop dusting. He spent his years in Texas making countless friends and building the business he loved. He married Maria Pavan on February 28, 2009, and they spent 14 years together before they split.

When Donnie joined a gym in Uvalde to get in better shape, he ended up finding more than a workout partner. What began as going to the gym at the same time blossomed into more, and he married Gabriela Espinoza on August 14, 2024, who loved and cared for him until his passing.

He is survived by his wife, Gabriela Ripley of Uvalde; three daughters, Patti York and husband, Cody, of Nebraska City, NE, Joni Standridge and husband, Sean also of Nebraska City, NE and Hollie Welch and husband, Todd of Des Moines, IA; son, Dominic Ripley and wife, Tarah of Uvalde; sister, Jenice Schultheis and husband, Jon of Carmel, California; two brothers, Doug Ripley and wife, Kristin Quarles of Woodstock, Georgia and Philip Ripley and wife, Barb of Clarinda, Iowa; 11 grandchildren, Millie Ripley, Tristan Davidson, Rhett Ripley, Phoebe Ripley, Corbin Ripley, Quinton Ripley, Robert York, Rosalie York, Damion Lowe, Emmett Ripley, and Maddison Ripley.

She was born on July 30, 1987, to Larry Marlon Windham Sr. and April Marie Andrews in Hermiston, Oregon.

Ashley graduated from Wathena high school and spent the past couple of years working on Dollar General, meeting people and helping them. On February 27, 2018, she married Bradly Dean with whom she shared life, the ups and downs, but always together.

She loved the water, that’s why she would love going to the beach or the lake with her kids and spending the time there playing in the water and having the best time with them.

Survivors include her husband, her parents, her 6 children, Kaden, Gracie, Javier, Chase, Clayton and Chloe, and her siblings Larry Windham Jr. (Shawna), Chris Windham (Missy), Tim Windham (Dickie) and Billy Windham, as well as a host of extended family and friends that will deeply miss her presence.

Ruth Maxine Laumann was born to Adam Henry Lee Laumann and Lillie Anna (Klute) Laumann in rural Tarkio, Missouri on October 2, 1929. Maxine attended South Dale School for 8 years and graduated from Tarkio High School in 1947. After school she attended Commercial Extension school in Omaha, Nebraska. In 1948, she moved to Shenandoah, Iowa and worked for Bower Longstreet Insurance Company.

Maxine and Wilbur “Bill” Lang were married on August 1, 1951, in Aberdeen, Maryland while Bill was in the United States Army and preparing to be stationed in Korea. She moved to Rock Port, Missouri in September 1951 and worked at the Bank of Atchison County. When Bill returned from the war, they moved to the Klute farm in May 1953 and purchased the farm from Maxine’s parents in 1970. They later purchased some farmland in Iowa.

Maxine was active in the operation of the farm and was seen many times driving the tractor and doing what was necessary to be done. After renting out their farmland Maxine spent many hours making quilts for her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and Lutheran Church Women.&nbsp; She also made many lap robes for the rest homes and members of St. John’s. Bill and Maxine have been members of St. John’s Lutheran Church where they have both been active members through the years. Maxine served as an officer in Lutheran Church Women and was treasurer of the Tarkio Food Pantry for 14 years. She and Bill volunteered at Garden View Rest Home, Tarkio Food Pantry, and Maxine was the Thrivent advocate for many years. Bill and Maxine were avid square dancers and attended many of the activities of their grandchildren.

Maxine is survived by her children, Brenda (Michael) Reeves of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, Sharon (Ed) Jackson of Frankford, Missouri, Joyce (Robin) Pierson of Richland Center, Wisconsin, and Bruce (JoAnne) Lang of Tarkio, Missouri. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Jeffrey Gordon, Julia (Leonard) Steinkopf, Dennis Schleusner (Ashley Vanliew), Lori (Matt) Hill, Scott (Whitney) Jackson, Eric Pierson (Milena Mundim), Jill (Bob) Berglin, Erin (Michael) Starks, Jordan (Elizabeth) Pierson, Kevin Lang, John (Nicole) Lang, and Melissa Lang (Griffin Smith) as well as 26 great grandchildren. She is survived by two brothers-in-law, Don (Marilyn) Lang and Ron (Barbara) Lang and many nieces and nephews.&nbsp; She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, her parents, her sisters, Lola (Donald) Fast, Hermie (Frank) DeBoer, Donna (Clyde) Shineflew, and her granddaughter, Heather Gordon.

She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Jeffrey Gordon, Julia (Leonard) Steinkopf, Dennis Schleusner (Ashley Vanliew), Lori (Matt) Hill, Scott (Whitney) Jackson, Eric Pierson (Milena Mundim), Jill (Bob) Berglin, Erin (Michael) Starks, Jordan (Elizabeth) Pierson, Kevin Lang, John (Nicole) Lang, and Melissa Lang (Griffin Smith) as well as 26 great grandchildren. She is survived by two brothers-in-law, Don (Marilyn) Lang and Ron (Barbara) Lang and many nieces and nephews.&nbsp; She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, her parents, her sisters, Lola (Donald) Fast, Hermie (Frank) DeBoer, Donna (Clyde) Shineflew, and her granddaughter, Heather Gordon.Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 5, 2025, St. John’s Lutheran Church, Westboro.The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M., Saturday, prior to the service. Maxine Lang October 2, 1929-June 28, 2025

Florence “Maudine” Shipley Dinsmore, 99 (formerly of Mt. Moriah, MO) passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at a Kansas City, MO nursing home.

Maudine was born on the family farm south of Mt. Moriah on November 9, 1925, the daughter of Ollie Grace (Hamilton) and Joseph Clifton Shipley. &nbsp;She attended Wooderson School and graduated from Mt. Moriah High School in 1942 at the age of 16. &nbsp;That summer, Maudine attended Missouri State College for Teachers’ Normal School in Maryville, MO. &nbsp;Maudine taught at the Hagen, Surprise, Cisco, and Wooderson schools in Harrison County. &nbsp;For several months in 1945, Maudine made her contribution to the war effort by working as a "Rosie the Riveter" at the Sunflower Ordnance Plant in DeSoto, KS.&nbsp;

On November 1, 1946, she married Frank Dinsmore, starting their married life in Bethany. &nbsp;During their 67 years of marriage, they spent most of their time in Kansas City, where they raised their family and were long-time members of the North Kansas City Christian Church. &nbsp;

Maudine worked for many years at the Central Office of the Kansas City Public Schools’ Board of Education. Frank's work took them to Nebraska and Texas. They returned to Kansas City in 1990 after Maudine retired from the Central Office of a Texas school district.&nbsp;

In retirement, she was an avid reader, crocheter, and an award-winning quilter. &nbsp;Frank and Maudine’s home was always welcoming; they enjoyed hosting family and friends for food, games, and conversation. &nbsp;Maudine lived a life of service to the Lord and her loved ones, always taking care of others without expecting anything in return.&nbsp;

Maudine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank; three brothers, Roscoe, Donald, and Gordon; her son, Ronald; and a grandson, Ryan Strickland.

Survivors include daughter Karen Strickland; 4 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Maudine has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.

A private inurnment will be at a later date.&nbsp;

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, MO 64424. &nbsp;

Gary Glenn Cooper, the son of Aithel and Lola (Nicholson) Cooper, was born July 25, 1936, in St. Joseph, Missouri. He attended Oregon High School, Oregon, Missouri, graduating in 1954. Gary then attended St. Joseph Junior College, Northwest Missouri State University, and later Tarkio College, Tarkio, Missouri.

On May 31, 1956, Gary was united in marriage to Sidney Pearce in Fairfax, Missouri. They became the parents of two daughters, Roseann and Stacy and made their home in Oregon and Fairfax. In 1984, the family moved to Tarkio where they live until the present time.

Gary dedicated much of his life to serving others through various roles. He worked as a Sales Manager for Tarkio Equipment and found great fulfillment as a Paraprofessional and school bus driver for the Tarkio R-1 School District. Later in life, Gary combined his love for travel with work, driving a charter bus across the United States. He cherished camping trips to Branson and Big Lake, Missouri, and was a devoted supporter of his wife, Sid, enthusiastically following her music career. Above all, Gary treasured the time spent with his grandchildren and his beloved fur baby, Sawyer. He passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Rock Port, Missouri, at the age of 88.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law, Keith Nemyer. Survivors include wife, Sid Cooper, Tarkio; daughters, Roseann Nemyer, Fairfax, and Stacy (Clint) Hughes, Rock Port; grandchildren, Keison and Keifer Nemyer, Jase and Kyler Hughes, bonus grandchildren, Dr. Sonya (Justin) Addison, and Sabrina (Loren) Booth; great granddaughter, Syrianna Sabella Nemyer, bonus great grandsons, Jake and Alex Addison.

Celebration of Life: 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, July 1, 2025, Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.
