Ronald “Ron” Keith Vernon, 77, of Ridgeway, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Missouri following complications from a surgical procedure.

Ron was born on May 5, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri to Howard William and Opal G. (Fitzpatrick) Vernon. He was known by his family and friends as Ron, Ronnie, and occasionally Ronald K. He enlisted in the United States Army from 1968 – 1970 and served in Vietnam. He married Lory McLain on April 14, 1970, who had an infant son, Tim Dollard, who Ron raised as his own. They moved to Jamesport, Missouri in 1973. And in 1975, they had a daughter, Rhonda. Over the years, Ron worked at Saint Regis Paper Company in Kansas City, Owned the Jamesport Tavern for a short while, built houses and hauled Amish for Ferman Hostetler, worked for Trenton Foods in Trenton, Missouri, and hauled vehicles for Allied Truck Lines until he retired. He was also a member of the Teamsters Local 41.

Ron married Kathy Graves in 1984 and brought two children to the family, Trisha L. Bishop and Russell A. Bishop. Ronnie educated both children in gun safety, shooting squirrels and deer hunting. Russell continued to deer hunt with Ronnie and even brought his children to Ronnie’s place in Ridgeway last November to hunt. Ron was often called “The Great White Hunter,” by many of those he taught the skills of deer hunting to.

Ron was an avid hunter of deer and coons, a fisherman, and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycles and trike going for adventures along the roadways. He had many friends he would do anything for and was there to help if he was ever needed. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by many and remembered by all who knew him.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Linda Neudeck. He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Huston and husband Shawn of Jamesport, MO; step son, Tim Dollard of Chillicothe, MO; grandson, Russell and wife Sara of Cameron, MO; great granddaughter, Braylee Huston of Cameron, MO; brothers, Dennis Vernon of Excelsior Springs, MO and Gary Vernon of Kansas City, MO; nieces, Cheryl and Marsha; nephews, Brian and Eric; and one great grandson on the way.

Wanda Louise Zimmerman (Dredge) Fisher, 87, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 9, 2025, at the home she cherished, surrounded by her loving family.

Wanda was warm, funny, and engaging — the kind of woman who never let you leave her home hungry, always had time for a story, and somehow made you feel like you belonged the moment you walked through her door.

She was born on June 14, 1937, in Maryville, Missouri, to the late Leonard and LaThella (Dredge) Zimmerman. A proud graduate of Horace Mann High School’s Class of 1955, she later attended Platt Business College after moving to St. Joseph.

Wanda retired from American Family Insurance after 22 years of loyal service. Before that, she worked as a school bus driver and broke new ground as St. Joseph’s very first female bread delivery driver in the 1970’s.&nbsp;

Wanda married the love of her life, Orlan Gene Fisher, on September 24, 1956. They shared 56 wonderful years together, raising five children and dancing their way through life at country dances across northwest Missouri, until Gene’s passing in 2013.

A faithful member of Calvary Chapel St. Joseph, Wanda and Gene also opened their home for Bible studies over the years — sharing not just scripture, but laughter, pie, and the kind of fellowship that sticks with you. She and Gene were involved with the Missouri Beekeepers Association and kept many apiaries. Wanda was a talented soap and candle maker, a passionate fisherwoman who could outfish anyone, and an avid tomato grower who loved her garden nearly as much as her kitchen.

In the kitchen - the heart of her home - Wanda was famous for her fried chicken, red velvet cake, and homemade pies, but even more so for her open invitation: anyone was welcome to sit at her table, sip coffee, and enjoy a cookie or two (or three). If you came to visit, you could expect a full plate, a warm smile, and a story worth hearing.

Wanda never met a stranger and was dearly loved by all who knew her. Quick-witted and endlessly kind, she had the rare gift of making everyone feel like family.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Polachek (Chris), Michael Fisher, Gregory Fisher (Betty Ann), Brett Fisher, and Gina Fisher; her sister, Evelyn Knowler (Gary); grandchildren Shawn, Steven, Sarah, Florella, Fallyn, Aubrey, Brian, Tyler, Gregory, Daniel, Juliana, Walter, and Franklin; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Owen, and her brother, Bernard Zimmerman.

A combined celebration of Wanda’s life and what would have been her 88th birthday will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Heaton-Bowman-Smith &amp; Sidenfaden Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. that evening.

In honor of Wanda’s fierce and abiding love for all children, the family requests memorial donations be made in Wanda’s name to The Noyes Home for Children.

Her hands are at rest, but her legacy lives on in every garden row, handwritten recipe, and steaming cup of coffee shared around a well-loved table.

Shannon L. Schildknecht, 52, of St. Joseph passed away Sunday June 9, 2025 at a local hospital in St. Joseph. &nbsp;He was born in St. Joseph, MO on June 10, 1972 to John &amp; Shirley (Smith) Schildknecht. &nbsp;

Shannon enjoyed good country music including George Straight and Randy Travis. He loved eating steak of any kind, morel mushrooms, Lays potato chips and fried tenderloins sandwiches from the Cabana Grill and he loved Pepsi just like his Mom!

He loved his long-time care givers, his Dad, and his family. He also loved Andy Griffith and kidding around. He did not love his seizures which ended up ending his life . We will miss him .

Survivors include his father, John Schildknecht of Savannah, MO; siblings, Randall (Brenda) Schildknecht of Amazonia, MO, Sheila (Chuck) Thorburn of Savannah, MO, Mark (Karen) Schildknecht of Savannah, MO, and Kelli (Allen) Latham of Kansas City, KS; thirteen nieces &amp; nephews, seven great nieces &amp; nephews, and one great-great niece. &nbsp;He was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Schildknecht in 2003.

Susan J. Noakes, 78, Hopkins, MO, went to her heavenly rest on June 8, 2025, at Oak Pointe in Maryville, Missouri.

Susan was born on February 3, 1947, in Lafayette, IN, to W. Leroy and Elouise Francis (Lawson) Stokes. They preceded her in death.

She grew up in Indiana and attended grade school in Lafayette, then graduated from high school in Lebanon, IN, while living with her grandparents. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Indiana University School of Nursing, then in 1986, her MSN at St. Louis University School of Nursing, St. Louis, MO. Later she received a Master of Divinity at St. Paul’s School of Theology, in Kansas City, MO.

After marrying Susan moved to Mountain Home, ID, while her husband was in the US Air Force. She later moved to O’Fallon, MO, then St. Charles, MO, and worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital there. She moved to Hopkins in 1995.

Susan proudly served her country in the US Army Nurses Corp.

She retired from nursing in 1995, and became an ordained minister at the Hopkins and Pickering Missouri United Methodist Church’s. Then in 1999, the Ravenwood Methodist Church was added. She had also preached at the Sheridan, Grant City, and Denver, Missouri Methodist Churches.

Susan was an Elder in the United Methodist Conference. Her memberships included PEO, the Mental Health Committee of Nodaway County, and the Habitat For Humanity Board of Northwest Missouri.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Noakes, in 2020, and by 2 brothers: John in 1991, and David in 2012.

She leaves her sister in law, Melba Jean (Dean) Bentley, Council Bluffs, IA, 5 nephews: Karl Stokes, Newark, TX, Jason Hoepker, Timothy Hoepker, and Wyatt Emery, all of Hopkins, MO, and Keyle Stokes, Maryville, MO, 3 nieces, Sarah Emery, Hopkins, MO, Diana Stokes, Maryville, MO, and Kasey Stokes, Newark, TX, and Wilbur’s niece and nephew, Kimberly Conley, Omaha, NE, and Scott Bentley, Orlando, FL, and many friends.

Susan has been cremated under the care of the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, MO.

Susan Noakes February 3, 1947-June 8, 2025

Wilma Hall 93, Bethany, MO passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025, at a Plattsburg, MO nursing home.

Wilma Eugene Hall was born as the third daughter of Edward and Gail Dyer of Ridgeway, Missouri, on April 1, 1932. She attended Ridgeway Schools, graduating in 1950. At the age of 17, she met Bill Hall from Bethany, and in 1950, they were united in marriage—a union that would span over seven decades.

In 1954, Bill and Wilma embarked on a farming career that would last nearly 70 years. In 1960, they purchased a farm two miles southeast of Bethany, where they raised three sons. After Bill's passing in 2022, Wilma continued to live on the farm with the help of her devoted caregiver, Shirley Ward, until shortly before her own passing when she moved to a nursing home.

For nearly 70 years, Wilma was an active member of the First Christian Church in Bethany. She contributed in countless ways—helping with church meals, working with the Christian Women's Fellowship (CWF), assisting with the church's 150th anniversary celebration, supporting Vacation Bible School, and much more. She was also deeply involved in the Happy Hustlers 4-H Club for many years, both while her sons were members and afterward.

Although Wilma's primary focus was raising her sons and supporting the farm, she also worked outside the home at several places. She worked at Hallmark in Kansas City while Bill was overseas during the Korean War, at Hy-Vee in Bethany, and at the University Extension Service in Bethany.

Later in life Wilma and Bill spent their winters in Texas, where they formed close friendships that were nearly as dear as family. These experiences enriched Wilma’s life, but her greatest joy was always her family. The many family gatherings and celebrations shared with the extended family of Kenneth and Patsy Hall were among her most cherished memories. For nearly 50 years, the two families would gather in the Ozarks for a long weekend of recreation and camaraderie. Another special occasion was the celebration of Wilma and Bill's 70th wedding anniversary, held on a beautiful day at the Hall Family Farm.

Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hall; her parents, Ed and Gail Dyer; and her two sisters, Elaine Baker and Mary Etta Robinson. She is survived by their three sons: Alan (Debbie) of Plattsburg, MO; Larry (Edith) of Hallsville, MO; and Ron (Amy) of Poteau, OK. Additional survivors include her grandchildren: Jeff Hall, Clint Hall, Marissa Termini, Jenny Sullivan, Wendy Baker, and Grace Hall, as well as nine great-grandchildren.

Wilma has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.

The family will hold a memorial graveside service in Antioch Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025. Memorial gifts may be made to the First Christian Church or the Antioch Cemetery in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, MO 64424.

She worked at Hallmark in Kansas City while Bill was overseas during the Korean War, at Hy-Vee in Bethany, and at the University Extension Service in Bethany.Later in life Wilma and Bill spent their winters in Texas, where they formed close friendships that were nearly as dear as family. These experiences enriched Wilma’s life, but her greatest joy was always her family. The many family gatherings and celebrations shared with the extended family of Kenneth and Patsy Hall were among her most cherished memories. For nearly 50 years, the two families would gather in the Ozarks for a long weekend of recreation and camaraderie. Another special occasion was the celebration of Wilma and Bill's 70th wedding anniversary, held on a beautiful day at the Hall Family Farm.Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hall; her parents, Ed and Gail Dyer; and her two sisters, Elaine Baker and Mary Etta Robinson. She is survived by their three sons: Alan (Debbie) of Plattsburg, MO; Larry (Edith) of Hallsville, MO; and Ron (Amy) of Poteau, OK. Shirley Jean Stanley was born on February 24, 1939 in Iowa City, Iowa, to LeRoy and Lola Mae (Cox) Stanley. &nbsp;Shirley entered into eternal peace on Sunday, June 8, 2025 in Shenandoah, Iowa surrounded by her loving family. &nbsp;

Her early life was spent in the Shenandoah community. It was here that she she completed her education. &nbsp;On December 28, 1962 she was united in marriage to Blaine Racine in Papilion, Nebraska.&nbsp; He preceded her in death on June 4, 1996.&nbsp; &nbsp; On December 10, 2008 she was united in marriage to Charles Dorl in Norwich, Iowa.&nbsp; The couple were married 5 years before his passing in December of 2013.&nbsp;&nbsp;

During Shirley's working years she was employed at Bonnie's Cafe, Shamrock Cafe, Shenandoah Ceramic Shop, Earl May Distribution Center, Hardee's (where she made the best biscuits) and Garden View Care Center.&nbsp; She was a hard worker and always enjoyed working with the public.&nbsp; An outing to the casino always made her day.&nbsp; &nbsp;The foundation of her home was her family.&nbsp; She loved them all so much!&nbsp; Shirley always enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.&nbsp;&nbsp;

She was preceded in death by her first husband Blaine and&nbsp; second husband Charles; brothers Richard Stanley (Shirley) and Robert "Bobby" Stanley; two additional siblings in infancy; grandson Levi Racine; nephews Michael Stanley and Jim Stanley;&nbsp; brother-in-law Terry Dorl; and brothers and sisters-in-law Floyd (Evelyn) Ruby, Gene (Ella) Racine, Dale (Mary) Graham and Elton (Dorothy) Racine.&nbsp; &nbsp;

John Leroy Pace Jr., 54, of Shenandoah, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2025, doing what he loved most - riding his motorcycle with the wind in his face and freedom in his heart.

Born in Creston, Iowa, to John Pace and Connie (Lamb) Pace, John was a true free spirit who lived life on his own terms. He had a deep passion for the open road, often found cruising on his motorcycle, with his grand-kids begging for rides. When he wasn't riding, he could be found fishing at his favorite spot, hunting in the Iowa wilderness, or working on cars and motorcycles in his garage. His hands were rarely still, always fixing, building, or tinkering with something.

John's greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his wife, Andrea Pace; his children, Amber (Chad) Kingery, John Pace III (Jamie), Shawn (Kerri) Kasha, Adam Sickels (Jenna), and Dennis Pace (Calle); his adored grandchildren, Payton, Preston, Mark, Lydia, Paisley, Waylon, Norah, Averi, Rilee, and Kennedy; as well as honorary children, Harley and Kevin, who held a special place in his heart; his sister, Jodi (Darren) Jeter; his nieces and nephews, Brianna (Warren), Heather, Zachary (Lexi), Dustin, and Adailee; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.

John Pace Jr. January 31, 1971-June 4, 2025

Raymond Cody Winther, affectionately known as Cody to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025, in Clarinda, Iowa, at the age of 74. Born on April 16, 1951, in Atlantic, Iowa, Cody was a man whose life was as rich and full as the fields he tended.

Cody attended a country school outside of Morton Mills and later attended Villisca High School, graduating in 1969. His early years instilled in him a love of the land, a trait that would define much of his life. Cody's work ethic was evident from his various jobs, which ranged from working for local farmers to working in a meat packing plant. His dedication and hard work culminated in a long career at Parker Hannifin in Red Oak. Cody served in the Iowa National Guard for six years, a commitment he undertook as a young father in the 1970s. He balanced his careers while also being a devoted father raising his daughter Charity and his sons Cody, Cole, and Heath.

Cody's life was not all work; his passions were as varied as they were heartfelt. He enjoyed going to the races in Corning on Saturday nights. He raised pigs for his children to show at the county fair, embodying the spirit of rural life. Fishing and hunting were not just hobbies for Cody; they were a way of life. He achieved “The World Slam” of wild turkeys with Cole, a testament to his skill and patience as a hunter. And as being a Winther, a good game of cards was inevitable.

Farming and custom haying kept him close to the earth he loved, and nothing brought him more satisfaction than being in his John Deere, watching as the fruits of his labor grew and flourished.

Cody was also known for his culinary skills, especially for the large, portioned meals he prepared for his family and for the hunters at the outfitter business he ran with his son, Cole. His generosity extended to the table, where good food, a cold beer, and warm conversation flowed freely.

Loving, wise, and generous – these words capture the essence of Cody. His wisdom was often shared in sometimes not simple, yet profound statements. When you were in his presence, Cody always made you feel like you shined the brightest. To know Cody, was also to know his big, loud laugh.

Raymond Cody Winther's legacy is one of love, dedication, and joy in life's simple pleasures. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Cody's life was a testament to the beauty of a life well-lived, and his memory will continue to inspire those he left behind.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Raymond Laverne and Norma Augusta (Nelsen) Winther; sisters, Denice Comes and Mary “Suz” Buick; brothers, Mark Winther, Craig Winther, infant brother Warren Lee; nephews Layne Comes and Irvin J Lehman.

Byland James, age 75, Ravenwood, Missouri, died Thursday, June 5, 2025, at his home in Ravenwood.

Byland was born April 21, 1950, on the family farm South of Grant City. He was the son of the late W. Alton and Ellen J. James.

Byland was united in marriage to Peggy Lea (Graham) on June 29, 1969, in Stanberry, Missouri. To this union two children were born, Angie and Donnie.

Byland served in the Army National Guard. Byland had worked many jobs, as he was a jack of all trades. He worked for Montgomery Wards in Maryville, the city of Ravenwood as Municipal Works Director, as an over the road truck driver, did construction and plumbing, owned and operated BJ’s Body Shop where he restored 13 Volkswagen’s. Most recently, he had served as a Correctional Officer for the Missouri Department of Corrections in Maryville. Byland was a member of the Ravenwood Volunteer Fire Department and a First Responder for over 25 years.

Byland never knew a stranger. He always knew you when he saw you, and enjoyed visiting and catching up.

He was preceded in death by his wife Peggy (2016), his parents, 3 brothers Jimmy Dale, Duane (Comish), Calvin Dean James, two nephews Bobby James and Sean Powers.

She was born on January 16, 1950, in Post Falls, Idaho the daughter of Cecil and Nellie (Bergman) Harrison.

Rita graduated from Post Falls High School in Idaho. On August 12, 1971, she married Marinus deJong in Spokane, Washington. He survives of the home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Nellie Harrison; brother, Dennis Harrison; and sister, Marsha (Harrison) Suman.

In addition to her husband, Rita is survived by her two daughters, Marina (Andre) Remmers, Bethany, MO and Maryke (Brian) Willis, Cainsville, MO; three grandsons, Brian Willis, Aurora, NE, Jesse Jennings, Bethany, MO, Mark Willis, Cainsville, MO; great granddaughter, Brynlee Willis, Aurora, NE; and several nieces and nephews.

Patsey Ann Riley, the daughter of Cleo and Pearl (Hamilton) Graham, was born September 19, 1942, in Randolph, Iowa. She attended Homer Country School and Tarkio High School, Tarkio, Missouri.

On November 1, 1971, Patsey was united in marriage to Billy E. Riley in Rock Port, Missouri. They made their home in Tarkio their entire married life.

Patsey was employed by numerous restaurants as a waitress and Tarkio Rehabilitation and Health Care, as a Certified Medication Technician. Later, she was employed as a machine operator for Eaton’s Corporation, Shenandoah, Iowa, for 25 years, retiring in 2001.

Patsey loved sewing, painting, and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with family. Patsey passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025, Pleasant View Nursing Home, Rock Port, at the age of 82.

Besides her parents, Patsey was preceded in death by grandchildren, Seth and Malekai; siblings, Junior, Dick, and Mary. Survivors include husband, Bill; children, Marsha (Travis), Mike, Robert A. (Jessica), Dena (Rodney), Vicki, Randy (Jeanette), and Robert E. (Sonia); 21 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren; siblings, Bob, Beverly (Larry), and Jerry; numerous nieces and nephews.

Bernard Francis “Bernie” Runde, 91, of Parnell, Missouri passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at his home.

Bernie was born on May 7, 1934 in Stanberry, Missouri to John H. and Matilda E. (Ginther) Runde. He was a 1952 graduate of Parnell High School. He served in the United States Army, spending time in Okinawa Japan. He was a lifelong farmer and enjoyed boating the rivers and traveling to the mountains. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council #1931 and the American Legion Post 528. He served several years for the Federal Land Bank and as a Worth County FSA committee member.

He married Mary E. Protzman on September 6, 1958 in Conception, Missouri. She preceded him in death on October 28, 2010. He was also preceded by his parents, brothers, Leo Runde, Richard Runde, Walter Runde, Jack Runde, infant brother, Eugene Runde; sisters, Sally Davison, Teresa Kemper Price and Rita Andriano.

He is survived by his children, Daniel (Traci) Runde, Michael (Louise) Runde, Patrick Runde, James Runde, Keith (Missy) Runde and Catherine Runde; sixteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Rose Starke, Mary Crocker and Monica Clayton.

Mass of Christian Burial 10am Saturday, June 7th at St. Joseph Catholic Church under the care of Price Funeral Home. Rosary 6pm Friday, June 6th at the church. The family will receive friends following the rosary until 8pm. John Donald Kirby, Jr., 77, of Maryville, Missouri, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025, at his home in Maryville with family at his side.

John was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on September 8, 1947. His parents were John Donald and Jean Marie (Kilfoyle) Kirby Sr. They preceded him in death. &nbsp;He was also preceded by his brother, Timothy Kirby, and his sister, Barbara Kirby.&nbsp;&nbsp;

He grew up in Parma and went to school there. He was a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Parma, Ohio. He got his Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry from Cleveland State University. He moved to the Maryville area in 1974, where he met the love of his life, Katherine Kling. They were married on September 11, 1976.

John was an engineer with Energizer. He retired from the Maryville, Missouri plant after 44 years of service.

John was a member and attended the St. Gregory’s Barbarigo Catholic Church, Maryville. He was a huge sports fan and played softball, racquetball, golf and he bowled. He enjoyed bird hunting; turkey, quail and pheasant. He was an avid Cleveland Indians/Guardians fan. He also enjoyed fantasy football.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine, of the home, daughters, Karen Kirby, Atlanta, Georgia, and Jennifer (Liza Saracina) Kirby, Bloomington, Indiana, his siblings, brother, Gary (Mary Lea) Kirby, Brunswick, Ohio, and sister, Joanne Hughes, Ellicott City, Maryland, and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

John has been cremated under the care of the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri.

There will be a memorial service for John at the Bram Funeral Home on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Marilyn Janelle Blanton, 89, of New Hampton, MO passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025 at a Plattsburg, MO nursing home.

She was born November 18, 1935, the daughter of Olin C. and Gladys Elaine (Thompson) Goble.

Marilyn attended Victor School through the 8th grade and was a graduate of New Hampton High School.

On August 15, 1953, she was united in marriage to Dillard “Dee” Blanton at the Christian Church in New Hampton, MO. &nbsp;Dee preceded her in death on October 5, 2016.

Marilyn was a homemaker and worked as a typist for Old American Insurance. &nbsp;She was a faithful member of the New Hampton Christian Church.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Darin Dunlap; sister, Carolyn Gentry; brother, J. W. Goble and niece, Rhonda Miller.

Survivors include her daughter, Dana (Stacey) Evans. Lathrop, MO; son, Greg Blanton, New Hampton, MO; grandchildren, Clayton (Mallory) Evans and Brooke Blanton (Casey); 2 great-grandchildren, Carmen Evans and Decker Flynn and several nieces and nephews.

Marilyn Janelle Blanton, 89, of New Hampton, MO passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025 at a Plattsburg, MO nursing home.She was born November 18, 1935, the daughter of Olin C. and Gladys Elaine (Thompson) Goble.Marilyn attended Victor School through the 8th grade and was a graduate of New Hampton High School.On August 15, 1953, she was united in marriage to Dillard “Dee” Blanton at the Christian Church in New Hampton, MO. &nbsp;Dee preceded her in death on October 5, 2016.Marilyn was a homemaker and worked as a typist for Old American Insurance. &nbsp;She was a faithful member of the New Hampton Christian Church.She was also preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Darin Dunlap; sister, Carolyn Gentry; brother, J. W. Goble and niece, Rhonda Miller.Survivors include her daughter, Dana (Stacey) Evans. Lathrop, MO; son, Greg Blanton, New Hampton, MO; grandchildren, Clayton (Mallory) Evans and Brooke Blanton (Casey); 2 great-grandchildren, Carmen Evans and Decker Flynn and several nieces and nephews.Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 6, at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. &nbsp;Burial will follow in the Foster Cemetery, New Hampton, MO. &nbsp;The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. &nbsp;Memorials may be made to the New Hampton Christian Church in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O.
